Compare Best Tours & Experiences in Los Angeles

The prices for the tours we compare across booking platforms vary widely depending on the format and inclusions. Most options fall between $126 and $350, with a median price of around $165. However, because there are both budget-friendly sightseeing tours and high-end private experiences, the full spread ranges from roughly $65 to $1,339. If you are looking at the lower end of that range, it is likely a basic group ticket, while the higher figures usually reflect private guides or luxury transport.

The vast majority of the options we compare are Cultural Sightseeing Tours (95% of listings). You can expect a guided exploration of Hollywood and Los Angeles landmarks rather than an adventure or nature trip. The most common way to see the city is by bus (42% of options), though about a quarter of tours use cars or minivans for a more intimate feel. Walking tours are available but represent a smaller share of the total inventory.

These allow for a customized itinerary and your own dedicated guide. Duration varies significantly based on whether you choose a quick highlight reel or a comprehensive day tour. The typical length ranges from 3.1 hours to 8 hours, with a median duration of about 7 hours. This means many of the popular full-day experiences will keep you occupied for most of the afternoon. Shorter half-day options exist, but they are less common in this specific tour group.

Review sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with an average rating of 4.8 stars from over 3,373 combined reviews. Travelers frequently mention that guides are very knowledgeable and that they felt engaged with them throughout the experience. The phrase "best of hollywood" appears often in feedback, indicating that the standard sightseeing route hits the key attractions effectively.
