Jump Over Victoria Falls: Livingstone Guide

When comparing the options we track across booking platforms, most tours fall between $273 and $450, with a median price of around $302. You may occasionally find listings outside this range, stretching from about $207 to $534. Since these are high-adrenaline experiences rather than basic entry tickets, prices reflect the guided nature and logistics involved.

The time commitment varies significantly depending on whether you choose a quick jump or a more comprehensive sightseeing package. Most options last between 14 minutes and 3.5 hours, with a median duration of roughly 1.5 hours. If you want to combine the jump with other local sights, expect the longer end of that spectrum.

Transportation is a key part of many packages. About 57% of the options we compare (roughly half) include hotel pickup and drop-off. This makes it easier to reach the jumping site without arranging your own transport, though some shorter or more independent listings may not offer this service.

Yes, but they are not the standard offering. Only about 14% of the listed options (one listing in our current comparison set) are private tours. The vast majority are shared guided tours. If you prefer a dedicated guide and flexible timing, you will need to look specifically for those few private slots.

Guides provide commentary in five languages: English, French, Italian, Afrikaans, and Portuguese. Since English is one of the primary languages offered, most international travellers will have no trouble following instructions and safety briefings.

Booking ahead is generally recommended. While only about 14% of options currently show instant confirmation or free cancellation, securing a spot ensures availability for your preferred date. Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with an average rating of 5.0 stars across pooled reviews, indicating that the experience delivers on its promises when properly scheduled.

The method of arrival varies by tour operator. Roughly 43% of options use a helicopter for access or aerial views, while about 29% arrive by car. The remaining options likely involve walking or other ground transport. Check the specific itinerary details to see how your chosen tour handles the journey to the bridge or platform.

Swimming is strictly prohibited due to dangerous currents and hippos. Use designated safe zones only.

Yellow fever proof is needed if coming from endemic areas. Hepatitis A and typhoid vaccines are recommended.
