The options we compare across booking platforms generally range from $107 to $243, with a median price of around $170. Booking ahead is often worth it to secure the best value.

Most packages are designed as all-inclusive experiences to simplify your day. The majority of tours (67%) include meals, and roughly half provide a guide. Common inclusions also feature drinks, lunch, and pisco tasting sessions. This structure means you can focus on the sandboarding and wine rather than managing separate payments for food and transport.

These are full-day commitments, typically lasting between 14.5 hours and 1.5 days, with a median duration of around 17 hours. Because the itinerary covers both adventure activities in the dunes and visits to local wineries, you should plan to be away from your accommodation for the better part of the day.

Yes, sustainability is a notable feature of this category. About a third of the tours we compare (33%) are tagged as eco-friendly. While platform tags are applied loosely and do not imply formal certification, selecting one of these options allows you to support operators who prioritize environmentally conscious practices during the excursion.

It depends on your preference for flexibility versus social interaction. Roughly two-thirds of the options are group tours, which are great for meeting other travellers. However, 17% of the listings are private tours, offering a more personalised pace and itinerary. If you value exclusive attention from the guide, the private segment is a viable choice.

Tours are available in English and Spanish. Since these are the only two languages listed across the compared options, English-speaking travellers will find ample coverage, but those requiring other languages may need to check specific operator details or look for self-guided alternatives.
