Yes, booking ahead is recommended for two main reasons. First, while there are only about five options listed, they tend to sell out quickly due to their popularity. Second, nearly all options offer instant confirmation and free cancellation, which makes securing your spot early risk-free. This allows you to lock in your preferred time slot without worrying about availability.

University Hunt is primarily a Scavenger Hunt and Adventure Tour. It is not a traditional guided walk where a leader leads the group. Instead, it is a self-guided activity where you explore the area at your own pace using a mobile device or digital guide. About 60% of the options include a remote host who can assist if needed, but the core experience is independent exploration.

All five options we compare are structured as private tours. This means your party will be the only ones participating in the hunt, allowing you to set your own pace and keep the experience tailored to your group's interests. There are no shared groups with strangers, which adds to the flexibility and comfort of the activity.

Most participants spend between 1.5 and 2 hours completing the hunt. The typical duration is around 1.5 hours, though some options may extend up to 1.8 hours depending on how thoroughly you engage with the clues and locations. It is a manageable length that fits well into a half-day itinerary.

Inclusions vary slightly by provider, but most packages cover the essentials for a smooth experience. Commonly included items are:

• Digital photos or content related to the hunt
• Taxes
• Customer support during the activity
• A guide (either digital or remote)

About 40% of the options also provide digital photos, which is a nice bonus for sharing your adventure.

No, all available options are offered in English. You do not need to worry about language barriers if you are comfortable communicating in English. The self-guided nature of the hunt means you can follow along easily without needing a multilingual guide.
