Authentic Turkish Carpet Artistry Tours

The options we compare across booking platforms generally cost between $28 and $30, with a median price of $29. While you may see listings ranging from $14 to $68, the vast majority of workshops fall into that tighter mid-range band. If you are looking at prices significantly below $28, these are likely partial add-ons or deposits rather than full workshop experiences.

Most tours last between 1.5 and 3 hours, with a median duration of about 2.5 hours. This gives you enough time to learn the basics of knotting and design without feeling rushed. Because the activity is hands-on, the duration allows for proper instruction on the loom while leaving room for questions.

Yes, but they are rare. Out of the 6 tour options we compare, only one (17%) is listed as a private tour. The remaining 83% are group or guided workshop formats. If you prefer a one-on-one experience with the artisan, you will need to filter specifically for private tours, as they make up a small minority of the inventory.

You can book these workshops in 8 languages: English, French, Turkish, Arabic, Italian, German, Spanish, and Russian. This wide selection ensures that most international travellers can follow the detailed instructions on knotting techniques and cultural context without language barriers.
