When comparing the 19 tour options we track across booking platforms, prices generally fall between $95 and $251, with most tours clustering in the $100–$161 range. The median price sits at around $135. While there is some variation, you can expect to pay a premium for private experiences or those that include extensive meals and transport.

The overwhelming majority of these tours are focused on nature and wildlife. In fact, 95% of the options we compare are tagged as Nature tours, and 68% are specifically classified as Wildlife Tours. You will likely spend your time observing local fauna in their natural habitat rather than visiting cultural landmarks. If you are looking for a purely cultural experience, note that only about a third of the options (32%) include significant cultural themes, though these tend to offer higher value for money.

Most tours last between 7 hours and 1 day, with the median duration being around 9 hours. This is a substantial commitment, as the primary mode of transport is by boat (79% of options), which allows for deeper exploration of the river systems but requires more time on the water compared to city sightseeing.

Booking ahead is highly recommended. While roughly a quarter of the options (4) offer instant confirmation, many tours require manual verification by the operator. Additionally, about half of the available tours (5, or 26%) offer free cancellation, which provides flexibility if your plans change. However, given the specialized nature of wildlife and boat tours, popular time slots often fill up quickly, so securing your reservation early ensures better availability.

Inclusions vary significantly by provider, but here is what you can generally expect based on the options we compare:

• Guide Included: About a third of tours (37%) come with a professional guide.
• Entry Ticket Included: Roughly a quarter (26%) cover park or site entry fees.
• Meals Included: Around 26% provide lunch or snacks.
• Hotel Pickup and Drop-off: Only a small minority (16%) include transportation from your hotel.
• Transport Included: Just over 10% include all necessary transport costs beyond pickup.

Always check the specific itinerary, as many operators charge separately for meals or local transport.

Yes, but they are less common than group experiences. Out of the 19 options we compare, only 3 (16%) are designated as private tours. The vast majority (84%) are group tours, which can be more social and often more affordable. Private tours may offer more flexibility in pacing and customization, but they come at a higher price point within the overall band.
