Create Your Scent at Molinard Workshop

The options we compare across booking platforms span a wide range, from $36 to $768. Most tours fall between $57 and $229, with a median price of around $104. This spread reflects the difference between basic workshop entries and premium private sessions that include luxury materials or extended time with a perfumer.

Because this is primarily a hands-on activity rather than just a museum visit, many packages bundle essentials. The most common inclusions are:

• A guide (56% of options)
• Entry ticket
• Materials for creating your scent
• A perfume bottle to take home

Note that meals are included in only about 22% of listings, so do not expect food as part of the standard workshop package.

You can generally expect the experience to last between 45 minutes and 2 hours, with the median duration being about 1 hour. Since the format is mostly a guided workshop (20% of options) or a guided tour (56%), the pace is usually relaxed enough to allow you to create your own scent profile without feeling rushed.

Private tours represent a small but distinct segment, accounting for 5% of the options we compare (2 listings). While the majority of experiences are group workshops, a private session offers a more personalized interaction with the perfumer and allows for greater customization of your scent. If budget is less of a concern than exclusivity, these higher-priced options (often near the top of the $36–$768 range) are worth considering.

There are a few specific tags applied by platforms, but they are rare. Only 2 options (5%) are tagged eco-friendly, and another 2 (5%) are tagged family-friendly. Additionally, only 5% of options are noted as suitable for kids only. If sustainability or young children are priorities, you will need to filter carefully, as the vast majority of listings focus on general art and cultural themes.

Molinard is well-equipped for international visitors. We compare options offered in 8 languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, and Portuguese. This makes it easier to find a guide who matches your preference, though you may want to confirm language availability when booking since not every listing supports all 8.
