Best Ica & Paracas Tours Compared

Across the 17 options we compare, most tours fall between $39 and $80, with a median price of around $60. While you may find some listings starting as low as $29 or going up to $229 for private experiences, the typical budget for a standard group tour sits comfortably within that mid-range. We recommend checking all platforms to ensure you are getting the best value for your chosen date.

The overwhelming majority of these tours are designed as Nature (88% of options) and Sightseeing (71%) experiences. You can expect to visit beautiful destinations like the Ballestas Islands and Huacachina Oasis rather than urban cultural sites. Reviewers frequently describe the trip as a wonderful experience, highlighting the natural beauty and wildlife encounters as the main highlights.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you choose a half-day excursion or a full-day adventure. The options we compare typically range from about 2.5 hours to 2 days, with a median duration of roughly 9 hours for the most popular full-day packages. Be sure to check the specific itinerary when booking, as a quick buggy ride will be much shorter than a combined boat and desert tour.

Inclusions vary widely across the different providers. Only about 24% of the options we compare explicitly include a guide, while 18% cover both entry tickets and transport. Since many tours operate on a base-price model where you pay separately for the boat ride or buggy transfer, it is wise to verify exactly what is included in your final quote before confirming.

Accessibility is limited for this type of outdoor adventure. Most tours involve boat rides, buggy tracks, or walking on uneven sand and rocky terrain, which are not suitable for wheelchairs. We did not find significant data indicating widespread accessibility features among the 17 options, so travellers requiring mobility assistance should contact specific operators directly to discuss their needs.

You can book tours in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or French. This gives you plenty of flexibility if you prefer a guided commentary in a language other than the local tongue. When selecting your option, simply filter by your preferred language to ensure the guide can communicate effectively during the sightseeing portions.

Booking ahead is highly recommended, especially since roughly 41% of the options offer free cancellation, giving you flexibility if your plans change. Additionally, about 29% provide instant confirmation, allowing you to secure your spot without waiting for manual approval. Given the popularity of the nature themes and positive reviews, securing a slot early ensures you get your preferred time and vehicle type.
