Across the 11 tour options we compare on booking platforms, prices generally range from $72 to $752. The median price sits around $154, with most listings falling between $150 and $325. The vast majority of these tours focus on nature and sightseeing. In fact, 82% of the options are tagged with a Nature theme, and 73% are classified as Sightseeing Tours. You will likely spend your time exploring scenic coastal views rather than engaging in heavy adventure sports or food-focused itineraries, though a small selection does include snorkeling or stand-up paddleboarding.

Yes, private tours are quite common for this destination. Roughly half (55%) of the options we compare are private tours, which is unusually high compared to many other city activities. This gives you flexibility to customize your pace and route, especially if you prefer a more personalized guide over joining a large group.

Most tours last between 6 and 10 hours, with a median duration of about 8 hours. Since these are full-day excursions covering the North Shore, you should plan to be away from your hotel for the better part of the day. Be sure to check the specific duration listed for your chosen option, as shorter half-day variants are rare.

Booking ahead is highly recommended. While 91% of the options offer instant confirmation, the high demand and limited capacity for private guides mean popular slots often fill up. Given the 4.97-star average rating across 3,766 pooled reviews, securing your preferred date and guide type in advance ensures you get the best experience without disappointment.

You can find guides offering tours in five languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, German, and French. If you require a guide in a language other than English, be sure to filter your search results by language preference when comparing options across platforms, as availability varies by provider.
