You will also encounter Nature themes on every listing, with Food & Drinks included in half of the options. It is designed for travellers who want to engage with local life, not just view landmarks from a distance.

These are full-day commitments. The duration typically spans from about 7.8 hours to a full day (1.2 days), with a median time of roughly 9.5 hours. Because the experience involves travel along the river and visits to multiple sites, you should block out most of your day for this activity.

You have a choice between standard guided groups and private arrangements. About one-third (33%) of the options we compare are Private Tours, which is an unusually high share for this type of activity. The remaining two-thirds are Guided Tours where you join other travellers. If you prefer flexibility or a smaller group, the private options are readily available.

English is widely available, but these tours cater to a broad international audience. We see options offered in 8 languages: English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, German, Japanese, and French. This multilingual support makes it easier to find a guide who matches your preference, especially if you are travelling with non-English speakers.

The core of the experience is water-based. 100% of the tours we compare include Boat transport, which is essential for navigating the Mekong Delta's waterways. However, the journey is not exclusively by boat; about one-third (33%) of the options also include Car transport to cover land distances between specific sites or for hotel transfers.

There is a notable presence of sustainable tourism here. Roughly half (50%) of the options are tagged as eco-friendly, though these are platform designations rather than strict certifications. In terms of inclusions, most tours (67%) provide a Guide, and half (50%) include Meals. Given the length of the tour, checking whether meals are included is a good way to gauge value.
