Walk at a slow and steady pace. Do not stop or run suddenly. Motorcyclists will predict your movement and steer around you.

Use ride-hailing apps like Grab. This ensures fixed pricing and GPS tracking. It is much safer than hailing random taxis on the street.

Eat at stalls with high turnover and many locals. Avoid ice in rural areas. Ensure your food is cooked thoroughly in front of you.
