Most tours we see listed run for about 2.5 to 3 hours. The median duration is roughly 2.5 hours, which allows enough time for safety briefings, boat transit to the dive sites, and one or two dives depending on the package. It is a half-day commitment, so you can usually fit it into your morning or afternoon schedule without losing the rest of the day.

Yes, booking ahead is highly recommended. While not every option sells out instantly, the activity is categorized as Adventure and Water Sports, which tends to draw consistent interest. Only one of the five options we compare offers free cancellation, meaning flexibility is limited once you book. Securing your spot early ensures you get the language preference and time slot you want, especially since there are only five distinct options available across all platforms.

Guides conduct tours in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. With three languages supported across the available options, you should be able to find a guide who speaks your preferred language comfortably. When comparing listings, check the specific tour details to confirm which language is assigned to your chosen time slot.

Inclusions vary by provider, but here is what you can generally expect from the options we compare:

• Equipment Provided: About 40% of the tours include all necessary gear like tanks, regulators, and BCDs.
• Guide Included: Roughly 40% of the listings feature a dedicated guide throughout the experience.
• Boat Transport: Around 40% of the tours involve boat access to reach the dive sites.

Since these figures are split among the small number of options, it is important to read the fine print on each listing to see if equipment or transport is bundled or sold separately.

Instant confirmation is available for about 40% of the tours we compare (two of the five options). This means you can book and receive your voucher immediately without waiting for manual approval. However, there is no skip-the-line access because these are scheduled guided experiences rather than open-access attractions. You must arrive at the designated meeting point at your booked time.

These tours are primarily designed for travelers seeking Adventure and Nature experiences. Since 80% of the options are classified as Diving and 40% specifically as Scuba Diving, they are best suited for those with some prior experience or a willingness to learn under supervision. The activities are not typically marketed as family-friendly casual sightseeing; they are active water sports that require physical engagement. If you are looking for a relaxed cultural tour, this is likely not the right choice.
