Compare Best Guilin & Yangshuo Tours

The options we compare across booking platforms span a wide range, with most tours costing between $118 and $889. The median price sits at around $474, reflecting the mix of half-day sightseeing trips and multi-day private expeditions. While you may find listings starting as low as $93 or extending up to $1,542 for premium experiences, the bulk of available tours fall within that core band.

This is one of the most distinctive features of this tour group. Roughly 87% of the options we compare (20 out of 23) are tagged as private tours. This high share means you can expect personalized itineraries and dedicated guides rather than large bus crowds. Only about 13% of the listings are structured as group tours.

While sightseeing is the primary activity, the experience is heavily weighted toward culture and nature. Most options (83%) are classified as sightseeing tours, but nearly all of them (91%) include strong cultural themes. You will likely encounter local history, traditional crafts, and natural landscapes like karst mountains. If you prefer active exploration, cycling tours make up a small but notable portion of the offerings.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you want a day trip or an immersive stay. Tours typically last from 8 hours up to 6 days, with a median duration of 3 days. This suggests that many popular options are designed as overnight or multi-day journeys covering both Guilin city and the Yangshuo countryside, rather than quick single-day excursions.

Inclusions vary by provider, but here is what is commonly covered in the majority of options we compare:

• A guide is included in 70% of tours.
• Entry tickets are provided in roughly half (52%) of the listings.
• Meals are included in about 39% of options.
• Accommodation is bundled into 35% of the tours, which aligns with their longer duration.
• Private transport is arranged in 35% of cases.

You can book tours in four languages: English, Chinese, French, and Cantonese. Given the high percentage of private tours, language preferences can usually be accommodated directly with your guide, though it is best to confirm specific language requirements when booking through third-party platforms.

The pooled reviews across booking platforms show an average rating of 4.7 stars from 319 combined reviews. Sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with ~86% of analyzed feedback being favorable. There are no widespread complaints noted in the data, making this a highly rated category.
