Best Sphinx & Pyramid Tours in Giza

When comparing the 15 tour listings we track across booking platforms, prices generally fall between $34 and $78, with a median around $45. While you may see outliers ranging from $11 to $149, sticking within that core band usually secures a solid experience. Keep in mind that these figures reflect bundled packages rather than basic entry tickets.

This is one of the most distinctive features of this category. The vast majority of options we compare are private tours, accounting for roughly 87% of the listings (13 out of 15). If you are looking for a shared group bus or walking tour, your choices here are quite limited, as only a small fraction of the inventory fits that format.

Most itineraries last between 4 and 8 hours, with the median duration sitting at about 4.5 hours. Because many of these are private sightseeing experiences, they allow for flexible pacing. You can expect enough time to explore the site thoroughly without rushing, though some shorter variations may exist at the lower end of the price spectrum.

You will find good linguistic coverage, with options offered in 8 different languages: English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese. Since most tours are private, you can usually request a guide who speaks your preferred language when booking, making it easier to tailor the experience to your needs.

Inclusions vary by provider, but nearly all options we compare include a professional guide (100%) and offer free cancellation (93%). Common additions depend on the specific package:

• Hotel pickup and drop-off is included in about 87% of options.
• Entry tickets are covered in roughly 67% of listings.
• Meals are provided in about 53% of tours.
• Transportation during the tour is included in approximately 33% of options.

The primary mode of transport is by car, used in about 80% of the tours we compare. For a more traditional experience, camel rides are available in roughly 27% of options, while walking tours make up about 20% of the inventory. Given the high share of private car-based tours, you have significant flexibility to choose how you prefer to move through the area.

Skip-the-line access is not standard across this category. Only about 13% of the options we compare (2 out of 15) explicitly include it. If avoiding queues is a priority for you, you will need to carefully check the itinerary details of each listing before booking, as most tours rely on standard entry procedures.
