Yes, but they are not the standard format. While the vast majority of listings are self-guided or group-style food tours, 2 of the 10 options we compare are tagged as private tours. If you prefer a dedicated guide or a more intimate setting, you will need to filter specifically for these private listings among the broader selection.

Booking is straightforward because 10 of the 10 options (100%) offer instant confirmation. You can secure your spot immediately after payment without waiting for manual approval. However, since this is a popular food activity, it is still wise to reserve early if you have specific time preferences, even though the logistics are automated.

Inclusions vary by provider, but the data shows two main categories: Seat Reservation Only (found in 50% of options) and Meals Included (found in 40%). Most self-guided options focus on securing the reservation, while others bundle the actual hot pot meal into the ticket price. Always check the "what's included" section of the specific listing to see if you need to pay for food separately.

Sustainability is not a primary filter for this specific category, but there is one exception. Out of the 10 options we compare, only 1 (10%) is tagged as eco-friendly. If sustainable tourism practices are a priority for your trip, you should look closely at that single listing, as it stands out from the rest of the inventory.

This experience is ideal for independent travellers looking for a low-cost, self-guided introduction to Fukuoka's hot pot culture. Since 60% of the options are self-guided and the price is minimal, it suits those who want flexibility and autonomy. It is less suitable for groups seeking a formal, guided cultural lecture, as the themes are primarily focused on Food & Drinks (100%) rather than deep historical context.
