• Horses provided for the ride
• Safety helmets included in many listings
• A local guide leading the group

About a quarter of the options also feature hotel pickup and drop-off, which is useful if your accommodation is not within walking distance of the stables.

Duration varies significantly based on whether you want a quick introduction or an immersive adventure. The typical experience lasts around 2 hours, but the full range spans from a brief 1-hour ride up to nearly 20 hours for multi-day expeditions. If you are looking for a standard afternoon activity, you will find plenty of options in the 1.5 to 4-hour window.

Additionally, 58% of the tours allow free cancellation, giving you peace of mind if your travel plans change.

While the primary focus is on nature and adventure, there are specific formats for different groups. About 12% of the options are tagged as family-friendly, making them suitable for parents traveling with older children. Couples also make up a notable portion of travelers choosing these tours, particularly those seeking a romantic sunset ride. However, note that only a small fraction (around 2%) are explicitly tagged as family-friendly, so it is wise to check the age requirements before booking.

You will have no trouble finding a guide who speaks your language, as tours are offered in 8 languages: French, Arabic, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
