You will find some shorter sightseeing stops around 1.2 hours, while more comprehensive historical or archaeology-focused tours can extend closer to 4 hours. We recommend checking the specific itinerary, as longer durations often include hotel pickup and drop-off.

Yes, private tours are a significant portion of what we compare. Roughly 46% of the options (12 listings) are tagged as private tours. This is unusually high compared to other Santorini activities, making it easy to book a dedicated guide if you prefer personalized attention over joining a larger group.

We compare tours offered in 8 languages: English, German, French, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish, and Japanese. Since the majority of options are guided tours (62%), language availability is broad, though you should always verify the specific language for your chosen listing before booking.

Booking ahead is advisable, especially for private or small-group formats. About 62% of the options (16 listings) offer instant confirmation, which suggests good availability for flexible travelers. However, given the high popularity of the site and the 46% private tour share, securing your preferred time slot in advance helps avoid disappointment.

The most common inclusions vary by format, but here is what you typically find:

• Guide Included: Present in roughly 50% of options.
• Entry Ticket: Included in about 35% of listings.
