Most packages focus on the experience itself rather than full logistics. When comparing the options we list, you will find that:

• A guide is included in half of the available tours.
• Hotel pickup and drop-off is offered by about a third of the operators.
• Transportation is explicitly included in roughly one-third of the listings.

It is worth noting that many of the more affordable options may require you to arrange your own transport to the market entrance.

Yes, private tours are a dominant feature of this category. In fact, 67% of the options we compare are private tours, meaning you and your travel party will have a dedicated guide and vehicle. This format allows for greater flexibility in pacing and stops compared to group departures, which makes up the remaining share of listings.

Travelers should plan for a substantial outing, with durations typically spanning 4.7 to 8 hours and a median length of 6 hours. This timeframe accounts for travel time between Cusco and Pisac, as well as the time spent exploring the market and surrounding archaeological sites. Shorter transfers or quick visits are less common among the curated options we track.

Guides for these tours generally operate in three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Since the majority of options are private tours, language preference can often be specified at the time of booking. If you are joining a smaller group tour, it is advisable to confirm the guide's primary language beforehand, as English-speaking guides are the most widely available.

Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially for private tours which make up the majority of our compared inventory. Most options (about 83%) offer instant confirmation, allowing you to secure your slot quickly. Additionally, 67% of the tours provide free cancellation, giving you the flexibility to change plans if your itinerary shifts while still ensuring availability for your preferred date.
