Best Chivay to Puno Transfer Services Compared

When comparing the 15 tour options we track across booking platforms, most transfers fall within the $46–$59 range, with a median price of $50. While the typical spread is around $38–$306, you will rarely find prices below $38 or above $306 for these specific routes. The wider range usually reflects private vehicle upgrades or specialized sightseeing add-ons rather than standard point-to-point transport.

The vast majority of options we compare are structured as group tours (80% of listings), which generally offer better value for solo travellers or couples. Only about 20% (3 of the 15 options) are private tours. If you prefer flexibility and a dedicated driver without sharing the ride, a private option is available, but most travellers opt for the shared format to keep costs down.

These transfers are not just simple drop-offs; they often double as sightseeing experiences. The duration typically ranges from about 5 hours to nearly 17 hours, with a median of 6 hours. This variance exists because many options include stops at natural landmarks along the Colca Canyon route. You should check the itinerary carefully if you need a quick transit versus a full-day excursion.

Yes, convenience is a key feature for many travellers. Approximately one-third of the options we compare (5 listings) include free cancellation, and roughly the same proportion (13%) explicitly list hotel pickup and drop-off as included. However, since only about half of the total inventory guarantees this, always verify the 'inclusions' section before booking to ensure your accommodation is covered.

You will find support in English and Spanish across the available options. Since the primary themes are nature and cultural sightseeing, having an English-speaking guide can significantly enhance the experience of understanding the local landscape and history. Most drivers on these routes are fluent in both languages, but confirming this at booking is recommended.

Based on pooled reviews across platforms, the average rating is 3.62 stars from 14 combined reviews. The most consistent positive feedback highlights the excellent driver, suggesting that while the vehicles may be basic, the professionalism and safety provided by the drivers are high points. Reviews are generally positive regarding the driving skill, though the moderate rating suggests some variability in vehicle comfort or timing.

Flexibility is available for a portion of the listings. About 33% of the options we compare (5 tours) offer free cancellation, allowing you to book ahead with peace of mind. Additionally, roughly one-third provide instant confirmation, meaning you can secure your spot immediately without waiting for manual approval. Always look for the 'free cancellation' tag when filtering your search.
