Best Transfers & Tours from ORD to Chicago

When comparing the 9 tour options we track across booking platforms, prices typically range from $74–$239. The median price sits at around $154, with most listings falling within the $101–$207 band. Because these are private transfers, you are paying for exclusive use of the vehicle rather than shared seating.

This is primarily a logistics service rather than a sightseeing itinerary. The data shows that 56% of the options we compare are classified as standard Transfers, while 33% are Private Transfers. These services focus on getting you from the airport terminal to your hotel or destination efficiently. Only 33% of the options include entry tickets for attractions, and none are designed as multi-stop city tours.

All 9 of the options we compare are strictly Private Tours. This means you will have your own dedicated driver and vehicle for the journey. You cannot join a larger group or share the ride with other travelers, which ensures privacy but also contributes to the higher price point compared to shared shuttles.

Booking ahead is recommended to secure your preferred time slot, especially during peak travel hours. Fortunately, flexibility is built into every option; 100% of the tours we compare offer free cancellation. Additionally, all listings provide instant confirmation, so you do not need to wait for manual approval after payment.

The duration is relatively short, typically ranging from 30 minutes to 44 minutes, with a median time of 30 minutes. This reflects the direct route from O'Hare to downtown Chicago without sightseeing stops. All available options are offered in English and Spanish, ensuring clear communication with the driver throughout the journey.

The most distinctive feature is the complete lack of shared or public transport options; every single listing is a private car transfer. This high level of exclusivity is unusual for airport routes where shared shuttles are common elsewhere. If you prioritize privacy and door-to-door convenience over budget savings, this specific set of options aligns well with those needs.
