Small-Group Trekking Experience in Daintree National Park
We venture deep into the Jungle only two kilometers from the Coral Sea on the slopes of a mountain blanketed in old growth rainforest amongst giant trees thousands of years old and plants and animals that predate dinosaurs. We use a unique mixture of humour and accurate scientific information to tell the story of this unique forest where Kangaroo's live in tree's, a bird is bigger than a human and nothing is considered deadly to humans. Every plant and animal has a part in the story of this World Heritage listed ecosystem and we spend two hours on the 'hunt' along trails identifying and explaining the things we see explaining their part in the story of the worlds oldest continuously existing forest. Our guides are Wet Tropics accredited biological scientists who love to entertain, we are local to the area and have 23 years experience in guiding visitors from all over the world so language differences are not an impediment to providing everyone an enjoyable experience.

AI Review Summary
Opening overview: The Small-Group Trekking Experience in Daintree National Park earns consistently high marks — nearly all reviewers loved the intimate, two-hour rainforest walk and the way it brings the ancient forest to life. Guests especially praise the guides, who are Wet Tropics–accredited biological scientists and combine humour with accurate science to make the ecosystem easy and fun to understand. Highlights: Reviewers repeatedly call the guides knowledgeable and amazing, noting their deep ecological expertise and entertaining storytelling. The small-group format and the route just a couple of kilometres from the Coral Sea let you get close to towering old-growth trees and quirky wildlife while keeping the experience personal and relaxed. Constructive critiques: Negative feedback is minimal and rare; when mentioned, critiques tend to be subjective (for example, preferences about pace or the two-hour duration) rather than problems with guiding or content. Overall the few criticisms don’t suggest broad or recurring issues. Overall recommendation: Highly recommended for nature lovers, curious travelers, and anyone who enjoys science-led, personable guiding in a World Heritage rainforest. AI Travel Tips: - Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and insect repellent — the trails are natural and can be uneven. - Early morning walks are often cooler and better for wildlife activity, so book a morning slot if you can. - Expect an engaging, small-group experience suitable for non-native speakers; if you have mobility concerns, check with the operator about trail difficulty beforehand.
