Compare Top Tours at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

When comparing the options we track across booking platforms, most tours cost between $44 and $67, with a median price of around $45. The typical spread ranges from $24 to $95 depending on the experience level. While some basic entry tickets may appear at the lower end of that range, comprehensive wildlife experiences generally sit in the mid-range.

Reviewers consistently highlight two standout activities when rating their visits: the chance to hold a koala and hand-feed kangaroos. These interactions define the core appeal of the sanctuary, which is rated highly for its immersive wildlife encounters rather than just passive sightseeing.

Booking ahead is strongly recommended. Among the tours we compare, only about one in ten (11%) offer free cancellation, indicating that most bookings are firm commitments. While these tags reflect platform categorization rather than independent certification, they signal that certain operators prioritize environmental stewardship in their operations.

Most packaged experiences include more than just admission. Roughly 89% of the options we compare include an entry ticket, and about one-quarter explicitly list admission as a primary inclusion. Many of these packages also bundle guided elements or specific animal encounters, offering better value than a basic standalone entry fee.

Accessibility varies by tour format. The sanctuary grounds are largely navigable on foot, and many tours involve walking through natural terrain. However, specific details on wheelchair accessibility depend on the individual operator and route chosen. We recommend checking the specific listing details for each tour to confirm if it meets your mobility needs, as formats range from self-guided walks to guided group tours.
