Across the booking platforms we compare, most options fall between $48 and $92, with a median price of around $66. While you may see listings starting as low as $44 or reaching up to $512, the vast majority of tours sit in that mid-range band. The wider spread usually reflects differences in group size, duration, and whether the tour is private.

Almost every option we compare includes essential gear, so you do not need to bring your own equipment. Specifically:

• Equipment provided: 100% of options include harnesses, ropes, and helmets.
• Guide included: Roughly two-thirds (67%) provide a professional guide.

Since all listed tours are guided, you can expect safety oversight and instruction as part of the experience.

Yes, private tours are the dominant format here. Of the options we compare, 83% (5 out of 6) are tagged as private tours. This means you will likely climb with just your party rather than joining a large group. These private formats tend to offer more flexibility on timing and pacing compared to shared group climbs.

The duration varies significantly depending on whether you want a quick intro or a full-day adventure. Most tours run for about 4 hours to 6 hours, though some extended packages can last up to 3.2 days. If you are planning your day trip from Bogotá, a standard half-day or full-day climb fits well within a single morning or afternoon.

Booking ahead is advisable because popular time slots fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Fortunately, flexibility is built into almost all options. 100% of the tours we compare offer free cancellation, and 83% provide instant confirmation. This makes it easy to secure a spot without financial risk if your plans change.

Guides are generally multilingual to accommodate international travellers. The tours we compare are offered in three languages: English, Spanish, and French. Since all listed options are guided, you can expect clear communication regardless of which language you prefer, though it is worth confirming your specific guide's language when you book.
