Enjoy The Beauty of Scarborough Bluffs
The Scarborough Bluffs is our first recommendation for things to do in Toronto, Canada. You will find this escarpment, which is about 15 kilometers, in the Scarborough District. You can enjoy eleven parks or maybe choose just one or two to check out. While you can simply go to the Scarborough Bluffs to enjoy the view, there are other things to do there. For example, you can try hiking there if that is your thing. If you aren’t up for physical activity, then there is nothing wrong with just taking some pictures. Some visitors also love to have a picnic there; imagine going on a picnic with Taylor’s music playing in the background. Overlooking Lake Ontario, the Scarborough Bluffs is a sight to remember.

See The Animals At The Toronto Zoo
Swifties, who doesn’t love animals? Each one of us has at least been asked once in our lifetime about our favorite animal. Even in Toronto, you can see animals at Canada’s biggest zoo: The Toronto Zoo. At the Toronto Zoo, you will have the chance to see hundreds of different species. We love the Toronto Zoo even more because they advocate for endangered animals. They also have high standards regarding how they treat the animals. In addition, the Toronto Zoo also does wildlife conservation work. You won’t find many zoos doing the same thing.
With over 5,000 animals, you must spend at least an entire day to enjoy the zoo fully. One thing that makes the Toronto Zoo quite special is that it is divided into different geographical locations. You will love what you see whether you check out the Africa or the Americas sections. Toronto Zoo also has a KidsZoo where kids can enjoy the zoo safely and have a learning experience.

Through this recreated village, you will find costumed interpreters who live as if they were living in the 1860s. There are around 40 historical buildings that you can enjoy as well. One thing that attracts visitors to High Park is the cherry blossoms there. However, the best time to visit them is late April or early May. This won’t be possible since Taylor and the Eras Tour’s Toronto dates don’t align. You can still enjoy High Park, though, even without getting to see the popular cherry blossoms.

While there are many things at Nathan Phillips Square, one thing stands out. That would be the Toronto sign many people love to take pictures of. A fun fact about this popular sign is that it was first installed during the 2015 Pan-American Games. The plan was to take it down after the games, but people loved it so much that they decided to keep it. At Nathan Phillips Square, you can take pictures of the Toronto sign or see the events hosted there. Whatever you choose, make sure to enjoy it!

Now, Swifties, if you feel like having cocktails before the concert, Ace Hotel Toronto has covered you. At their rooftop bar, Evangeline, you can enjoy a cocktail or two while watching the skyline view of Toronto. Besides this, Ace Hotel Toronto also has a vinyl library, which matches the idea of visiting Toronto to attend a concert. So don’t let the 4-star rating stop you from seeing how amazing the Ace Hotel Toronto is.
Restaurants
Our Swifties guide to Toronto wouldn’t be complete without mentioning some of the best restaurants there. Toronto has great restaurants offering different cuisines, so choosing one can be difficult. However, our recommendations will make things a little easier for you. The restaurants we picked are some of the best, with great reviews and food. We also made sure to include restaurants near Rogers Centre. This way, you will know where to go if you feel like eating before or after the concert.
Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen
Our first restaurant recommendation is Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen. It’s not far from Rogers Centre, with only 1.4km separating them, so you don’t have to worry about the distance. Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen is inspired by Jamaica’s culture and people where they serve Caribbean cooking but add to it some twists. The restaurant has amazing décor, including two floors, two bars, and two outdoor patios. You have a lot of options when it comes to where you would like to sit. Famous for jerk chicken and saltfish fritters, Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen has an extensive menu with more amazing dishes. We recommend that you make a reservation before heading there. If you ever wanted to taste Jamaican food, now is your chance.

Alo
Our next restaurant is considered by many to be the best restaurant in Toronto, Canada. Alo opened in 2015, and since then, they have provided customers with exceptional service and food. The contemporary French restaurant serves a cuisine that is internationally inspired. Alo has also won Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants four years in a row, proving it’s good enough to go. Our only recommendation would be to book quickly since reservations open two months in advance. Alo is the best place to have a high-end dining experience. It is also suitable for romantic dates. While Alo is on the expensive side, it’s worth every penny.

Edulis
With only 1.7km between it and Rogers Centre, Edulis is another great restaurant you wouldn’t want to miss. Edulis is special because the owners, Tobey Nemeth and Michael Caballo, created a unique mix. At Edulis, you have a fine dining experience that is mixed with a feeling of being at home rather than alienated. If you are wondering what Edulis means, we can help with that. Boletus edulis, a porcini mushroom, inspired the restaurant’s name. The word Edulis also means “edible” when translated from Latin. Having a Michelin star, Edulis offers a weekly rotating menu that makes your experience unique. Despite the changing menus, Edulis’s menus mostly focus on seafood, vegetables, and wild mushrooms, so if this is something you like, then you would want to try dining at Edulis.

Swifties, our next restaurant suggestion is Canoe Restaurant and Bar. Before you ask, yes, it’s close to Rogers Centre. Canoe Restaurant and Bar is a true representation of Canada’s culture and also Canadian cuisine. They make sure to source their ingredients from farmers and suppliers across Canada. Not only does Canoe Restaurant and Bar offer delicious food, but they also want to celebrate Canada while doing so. If you ever wanted to try a restaurant that offers great Canadian cuisine, the time has come. In addition to Canoe’s amazing food, the restaurant also has a view of Toronto’s skyline. Le Sélect Bistro is one of the best restaurants in Toronto, and it has a rich history dating back to around 50 years. Given how long it has existed, it is now considered a part of Toronto’s history. Step into this great restaurant, where you will find a Parisian-inspired décor. You probably guessed from the name that Le Sélect Bistro serves classic French cuisine. They also have an extensive wine collection with over 1200 bottles. It is preferred to make a reservation beforehand just so you won’t miss experiencing Le Sélect Bistro.

Richmond Station
We can’t talk about the best restaurants in Toronto without mentioning Richmond Station. This restaurant is what you could call a neighborhood restaurant. A neighborhood restaurant means it feels like you are going home after a long day. The owners are around the restaurant most of the day. Plus, if you went to Richmond Station at the right time, you would become familiar with their staff; they keep their positions for a few years rather than always changing. Other than the great feelings you would feel there, Richmond Station offers excellent quality food. So, if you want to eat amazing food at a restaurant that feels like part of a community and is not pretentious, then Richmond Station is the right place for you.
- Opening hours: It opens on Monday from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and then from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Byblos
Our last restaurant suggestion is the contemporary eastern Mediterranean restaurant Byblos. At Byblos, they focus on using in-house and homemade experiences to make you feel like you are in the Middle East. They serve their dishes as if you are eating with your family at home, an essential part of Middle Eastern culture. Therefore, plates are meant to be shared, but who could blame you if you finished an entire plate yourself? One dish that almost everyone who tried Byblos recommends is Turkish manti dumplings; maybe give it a try. They offer cocktails that include Middle Eastern ingredients and a wine list. At Byblos, you can sit near the open kitchen to watch the magic happen. Undoubtedly, Byblos is one of the best restaurants in Toronto, serving Mediterranean cuisine.

Luckily for us, not only does Toronto have great restaurants, but it also has amazing cafes. We selected some of the best cafes in Toronto for you to check out. Whatever you prefer, you will surely enjoy at least one of the cafes on our list.
Milky’s Coffee
We start our cafe suggestion with Milky’s Coffee or simply Milky’s. With three branches, you can tell that Milky’s is good enough to have several branches. One of the great things about this café is the décor, which offers a calming atmosphere. We can’t recommend one drink since all of Milky’s drinks taste amazing. They also serve seasonal drinks to match the season and steal your heart. Plus, they have vegan and gluten-free options available. So why not head to Milky’s and enjoy a drink with their cute décor?

The modern spot lets you enjoy your order inside or on the back patio. Found Coffee serves many things, including espresso, coffee, tea, and pastries. They serve ethically sourced coffee to help the community, the environment, and the farmers. Who doesn’t like a café that has a goal and cares about the environment?

At Dineen Coffee, you can enjoy their delicious coffee or any other drink they serve while appreciating the unique décor at each branch. They also offer food, such as baked goods, breakfast, and sandwiches if you like it. You won’t be surprised to learn that Dineen Coffee is mostly busy due to how good they are. Fika Café
Our next suggestion is one with a unique name, Fika Café. “Fika” is originally used as a Swedish verb meaning “to go out for coffee.” It is also a noun and means a “coffee break.” If you liked the name, you would LOVE Fika Café’s décor. The colors of the café are more than welcome; they have a unique look to them with their Scandinavian decor. If you want a cozy café in Toronto, Fika Café is the right place. They serve coffee, tea, and homemade pastries. You can choose to sit inside or outside. Whatever seating spot you choose, you will find yourself enjoying Fika Café.

Sam James Coffee Bar
Our last café suggestion is Sam James Coffee Bar. Like most of the cafes we suggested, Sam James has several branches throughout the city. Our favorite is probably the Harbord branch. Since 2009, Sam James Coffee Bar has had a good reputation and even better coffee. The minimalistic design of the décor is nice to look at. They use their roasted beans for coffee; trust us, they are good. No matter what branch you decide to visit, Sam James Coffee Bar is one of the best cafes in Toronto.
