Why You Should Visit Dubai
If you didn’t get the chance to visit Dubai before, consider this a sign to do so! I can guarantee you will fall in love with everything related to Dubai.
One of the things that you will get to enjoy is the desert. I know that sounds weird, but it will be a great experience. You can go on a desert safari, ride camels, and even stay in a camp in the desert.
Another reason is the many cultures that you will get to see there. Dubai is known for having many tourists and foreigners visiting and living there. It’s estimated that 85% of Dubai’s population are ex-pats. So get ready to encounter people with different cultures; one can even say it will be like meeting the world in one place.
If you are still unconvinced, what if I told you that you would see the tallest building in the world? I’m talking about Burj Khalifa. Visiting Burj Khalifa is another kind of experience, one that is jaw-dropping. Just imagine the view as you see all of Dubai from the 800 meters tall building. Of course, many things make Dubai the perfect travel destination, but I just mentioned the popular ones.

The Dining Scene in Dubai
While Dubai is known for many things, one particular thing about it that makes it appealing to everyone is the dining scene. Dubai’s dining scene is impressive and rising, so you will never run out of restaurants you want to try.
The restaurants in Dubai care about quality and the happiness of their customers. You will be happy when you see the view in any restaurant you visit; some have sea views, and others have city views. As I mentioned, Dubai has its fair share of ex-pats, so the food scene there is diverse and pretty much satisfying.
Did I mention that Dubai has Michelin-starred names? I’m sure that by now, you are convinced that the dining scene in Dubai has everything you are looking for. Because of the diversity of the restaurants there, we picked for you 6 restaurants that you must visit in Dubai.
Best Yacht Tours with Breakfast or BBQ
Zuma
Our first recommendation for our best restaurants in Dubai list is Zuma. As mentioned earlier, Dubai’s restaurants offer different cuisines worldwide, and Zuma is no different. Zuma has been a Japanese restaurant in Dubai for more than 10 years; its endurance and success are due to its unwavering quality.
Rest assured that you will taste the best Japanese food. I’m not exaggerating, especially since Zuma has a world-class team of chefs, some of the best chefs specializing in Japanese and Asian food. Zuma has 3 kitchens, the main section, a sushi counter, and a robata grill.
When it comes to the décor, you won’t be disappointed. Zuma has 2 floors that are accompanied by a high-style dining room. You will also find geometric Arabic shapes on the walls and the terrace.
What makes Zuma even more perfect is that it has one of the best bars in the Middle East. So you can enjoy their modern bar before or after eating; it depends on your preference. Everything about Zuma is perfect, from the food to the atmosphere and then to the brunch, and we have the founder Rainer Becker to thank.
There’s only one downside to Zuma, which is the view; let’s be honest, it’s not the best view in Dubai. However, everything I mentioned will make you forget the view and focus on the experience. Despite the lack of view, Zuma has rated 4.4 stars on Google Maps’ reviews. But in the last couple of months, most reviews gave Zuma 5 stars, saying something about the restaurant! They also have 100 thousand followers on their official Instagram account.

COYA
Our next suggestion is one of Dubai’s most famous Latin American restaurants. I’m talking about COYA, which has been open since 2015, and it’s still going strong.
Regarding food, COYA offers Peruvian cuisine, which has influences from China, Japan, and Spain. Just like Zuma, COYA has 3 kitchens, and all of them are open, so you can sit back and enjoy watching the chefs as they work. They also have a pisco bar which is in keeping with their Peruvian cuisine.
COYA’s reviews are encouraging since the restaurant has 4.5 stars out of 5 on Google Maps reviews. Their official Instagram also has about 88 thousand followers; this is evidence that COYA is worth the visit whenever you are in Dubai.

Couqley French Brasserie
So far, I have mentioned a Japanese restaurant, Zuma, and then a Latin one, Coya. We have a French restaurant named Couqley French Brasserie for our next suggestion.
Couqley French Brasserie is not the first branch of the Couqley family but the second branch after the first location in JLT. We are lucky that famous artist Ana D’Castro has designed Couqley French Brasserie in Downtown Dubai.
One of the reasons that will make you fall in love with Couqley French Brasserie is their reasonable prices; this is amazing with the quality of the food they serve. Along with the food, the interior will impress you and make you feel at home. You will find brick walls and vine leaves. There’s also a central bar, dining tables under olive trees, and a French garden-inspired booth. There is also a terrace you can enjoy while trying French cuisine!
The best part about Couqley French Brasserie is its rating on Google Maps’ reviews. The French restaurant has a 4.9 rating, one of our list’s highest ratings. Couqley’s official Instagram account has about 11 thousand followers and is loved by many!

Tàn Chá
We suggested Japanese, Latin, and French restaurants. For this suggestion, we have Tàn Chá, considered the best Chinese restaurant in Dubai. One jaw-dropping fact is that Tàn Chá opened recently and quickly established itself in Dubai.
Tàn Chá will take you on a journey of Chinese cuisine; their dishes include classic and contemporary ones. A fun fact is that Tàn Chá means “to explore” in Mandarin, so you better be prepared to do just that. You will love it because it gives a club atmosphere so you will feel comfortable. You must try eating at a table on the terrace overlooking the canal.
Regarding popularity, Tàn Chá has a 4.8 rating on Google Maps’ reviews. At the same time, their official Instagram account has 12 thousand followers.

Ossiano
Our fifth suggestion for the best restaurants in Dubai isn’t for the faint of heart. Ever imagined eating underwater? Well, Ossiano will make your imagination become a reality. While eating, you will see 65,000 marine animals swimming around you. Don’t worry; no accidents are going to happen. Just imagine the view while you sit in the middle of such an aquarium!
Even their menu, focused on seafood, has meaning behind it. One of the most creative chefs in the UAE, Grégoire Berger, created a menu inspired by real events, emotions, and childhood memories. He even uses products in season, so the food is always fresh.
You won’t run out of options when it comes to wine, especially because Ossiano has a wide selection of wine. With all these pros, it is no surprise that Ossiano is one of the most expensive restaurants in Dubai. However, the experience will be worth it! They even have a MICHELIN star.
Regarding ratings, Ossiano has 4.5 stars on Google Maps’ reviews; this is pretty good. Their official Instagram account even has around 74 thousand followers.
