Best Northern Lights Tours in Bjorkliden, Sweden

Across the options we compare, nature-focused sightseeing tours are the clear norm. Nature is the defining theme across all listed options, and sightseeing makes up the largest share, so this page is mainly about going out to watch and experience the aurora rather than booking a long activity-packed itinerary.

The price band most travellers will see is about $173–$208, with a median of $177 across the tours we compare. The wider spread runs from about $155 up to $997, so the higher end is likely where more premium or private-style experiences sit.

Most options fall in the about 2.5–6.5 hour range, and the median is around 4.2 hours. In practice, that means many tours are long enough to get away from built-up areas and spend real time watching conditions, without turning into a full-day commitment.

There is no single transport style that dominates the whole set. Among the options we compare, the most common ways of getting around are bus, snowmobile, and walking, each appearing in a similar share of listings. That gives you a useful split between easier sightseeing-style outings and more active aurora experiences.

Inclusions vary, so it is worth checking the exact listing before booking. The most common extras we see are:

• Guide included on about a third of options
• Meals included on about a quarter

Guided formats are the most common overall, so if you want help with route choice and conditions, that is easier to find than fully independent options.

Not especially. Private tours are a small minority, so if privacy matters, it is worth booking early and comparing carefully across platforms. For most travellers, the more typical choice is a guided group tour, which is the dominant format among the options we compare.
