While you can find entry-level tickets starting around $10, premium private experiences or specialized guides can reach up to $295. For the best value, the mid-range guided tours tend to offer the strongest balance of depth and price.

• Entry Ticket Included: 66% of the options we compare (27 listings)
• Guide Included: 56% of the options (23 listings)
• Audio Guide Included: 39% of the options (16 listings)

Most tours are designed as sightseeing or historical walks, so you will rarely get just a bare admission pass unless you select a self-guided option.

Skip-the-line access is available but not the standard offering. Only 3 of the 41 options we compare (7%) explicitly include this feature. Since the vast majority of tours involve walking through the site with a guide, the primary benefit of booking ahead is securing your preferred time slot rather than bypassing queues, though it does help avoid sell-outs during peak season.

You have solid coverage across major languages. The options we compare are offered in 8 languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Greek, Portuguese, and Chinese. If you are looking for a specific language other than English, check the filters on booking platforms like Viator or GetYourGuide, as availability varies by date.

There is a notable presence of eco-conscious tours, with 16 of the 41 options (39%) tagged as eco-friendly. However, family-specific tagging is rare; only 1 option (2%) is explicitly labeled family-friendly. Most tours are suitable for families simply because they are walking-based and educational, but you should verify age appropriateness when booking.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you choose a quick walk-through or a deep dive. The typical range is 1.3 to 4 hours, with a median duration of about 2 hours. Self-guided audio tours tend to be shorter and more flexible, while private or small-group historical tours often run closer to the 3–4 hour mark to cover the extensive ruins.
