Yes, private tours are a significant part of what we see across platforms. Roughly 40% of the options we compare (2 listings) are structured as private tours. Duration varies quite a bit depending on whether you book a quick scenic sail or a more comprehensive experience. Most tours run between 1.5 and 6 hours, with a median duration of about 5 hours. If you only have a short window in Amsterdam, look for the shorter sailing options, but be aware that many popular choices are full half-day excursions.

You can expect tours to be conducted in English, German, and Dutch. Since all five options we compare offer one or more of these languages, English-speaking travellers will have no trouble finding a guide. It is worth checking the specific listing details to confirm the primary language of your chosen operator.

Booking ahead is highly recommended, especially since 40% of the options (2 listings) offer instant confirmation, which often correlates with limited capacity. Given that these are primarily Cruise and Sailing experiences (100% of options) rather than walk-in attractions, securing your slot in advance ensures you get the preferred time and avoids disappointment during peak seasons.
